Appearance

Accelerate is quite a sturdy and tall fellow. He stands around 6ft4 and is well muscled however, still on the lanky side. He is skin colour is mostly varying shades of grey with blue and black markings, similarly are his wings coloured. His feathers on his head are differing shades of dark to electric blue. Accelerate usually assumes a relaxed posture which causes him to slouch at times. He's incredibly approachable and has a very open expression.

 

Accelerate often wears white singlet tops, his usual ones having one to two pockets. He wears a necklace around his neck with the Transformers Autobot symbol (A gift from a friend) and wears a thin harness, one strap over his left shoulder, and one strap around his waist. This he uses to hold his favourite weapon, his bat and his bow.

He wears army regulation pants with plenty of pockets, and thick regulation army boots. Often time he can also be seen wearing a silver cap with a single black stripe down the center.

 

Weapons

As all his species do, Accelerate uses his bow, made especially for him by both his mentor and himself. His bow is strong and compact, used mostly for power. As all Avyloci are, Ace is very skilled in the art of archery and has pinpoint accuracy. He also possesses a baseball bat, a weapon he's taken a liking to. Just a standard bat, nothing particularly special about it, other than the fact the inside is reinforced steel.

 

Personality 

Accelerate is first and foremost, an extroverted and social soul. He loves to be with people and can hardly, if ever, be found on his own. Even if he were just to be in the same room as another person. He is incredibly gregarious and actively seeks out social situations and places in which he can be with people, the more people the better. He isn't socially selective and can happily interact with absolutely anyone from his closest friend to a total stranger. He gains energy from being with people and hates being alone. In fact, Accelerate can't often handle being alone and begins to exhibit anxous mannerisms which get more intense for the longer he is left without others. 

 

Accelerate is a very confident individual and has very few insecurities in regards to himself. He is able to move among people with absolute ease and comes across as very friendly. He is very socally aware and can interpret social situations with ease, however, due to his fun-loving persona, Ace often chooses to appear less socially savvy than he is. This isn't to say that he is always right about social situations, but he isn't as clueless as he may appear to others. Accelerate is a very caring individual and genuinely cares about everyone he meets regardless of race, gender or social status, he has a very tolerent nature and does not discriminate against anyone. He is very empathetic and easily understands the emotions of others, often able to relate whether he has been through that or not. This means that despite his childish nature, Accelerate is actually a very good and understanding person. 

 

One matter that must be addressed, is Accelerate's childishness. As previously stated, while his actions may seem immature for the most part, Ace is actually a very perceptive individual. This, however, does not mean he is going to make it easy for others to live with him. 

Ace has often been called the joker or the trickster due to his jaunty nature. He is a very active individual who must be kept occupied and stimulated for the majority of the day. He isn't one to just read a book or sit and play a game, he has to be doing things and interacting with people. So this manifests in a happy-go-lucky nature at all times. Ace is willing to do just about anything to make others smile, throw himself in the mud, wear a tutu in public, everything is on the menu. Despite this, Accelerate can be a nightmare when he's bored and if others wont entertain him, he'll make his own entertainment, often at the expense of others. Usually this is just being annoying or playing the occasional prank, nothing harmful, but it does get some a little riled up and frustrated. But, for all his empathy, Ace seems completely unrepentant. 

 

Ace is a very cooperative and altruistic person by nature, often helping others out because he can and because he likes to make others happy. Accelerate, if it wasn't already evident, works best in a team and enjoys this thorougly. He never takes the leader position, preferring instead to follow and happily plays the role of joker or the comic relief. Accelerate is a very expressive individual and one can usually interpret exactly how he is feeling, just by looking at his face, in fact, it's pretty much impossible for Ace to hide his emotions. This leads to an inibility to lie, though he has shown himself to be competent at it if his friends are in danger, he finds it impossible to lie to someone under any other circumstances. If asked or pressed, he will begin to fidgit, his expressiveness putting guilt all over his face and he will eventually give up the secret if pressed hard enough. Also highly communicative in nature, Accelerate is often adept at getting his point across though he may appear to put his foot in it occasionally. 

 

He is an adventurous and brave individual who is not afraid of a little risk. This isn't to say he is a big risk taker, he's just up for most things provided he feels someone could benefit from it. He has shown remarkable courage in the face of danger and increadible loyalty to his friends. Despite this, he doesn't enjoy conflict and will avoid it if at all possible. He is very passive and despite the fact that he riles others up when bored, he isn't one to start or participate in an actual conflict willingly. He has shown himself to be self-sacrificing if he believes it is warrented, this comes from his care of others and his pure nature. 

 

History

Accelerate had begun his life with loving parents. His real name isn't Accelerate, but he was nicknamed the equivalent in the language of the Avyloci (Lonnephos) and very soon the young Avyloci went by nothing else. His life went smoothly for the first stage, he was given a baby sister whom he adored and he was constantly out talking to people. At the age of around five years old, it was apparant that Accelerate had retained the mimic ability all Avylocian children had at birth but lost as they got older. His tribe was overjoyed and hosted large celebrations in order to commemorate. His family was very diligent however, in keeping Accelerate from growing arrogant about his ability, and instead encouraged humbleness. 

 

He'd walk to the Warriors keep, the Healers keep, but the thing he loved most was to listen to the elders of his tribe. He'd spend much of his days there with his sister, and picked up his kindness and optimism from the old affectionate wisdom of the elders. It was when Accelerate turned ten, however, that his parents were out on a routine hunt. It was the day Accelerate had managed to fly across the courtyard unassisted, the day he was to get apprenticed. He waited eagerly for his parents to come home to tell them the news. However, their hunting party arrived without them. They'd been killed by the Rasharrn. Heartbroken, Accelerate ran to the elders and allowed them to comfort him.

 

He had to tell his little sister, whom was only five at the time and hold her as they both cried. The two of them were then rasied collectively by the tribe, being allowed shelter with whomever was to take them that night. It was this that developed Accelerate's initial extroverted attitude, he learned how to get along with everyone in his tribe. After he was apprenticed, Accelerate was constantly taken between the tribes in order to form a good relationship with them all. Being one of the rare few with the mimic ability, he was welcomed with open arms, his further allowed Accelerate a social and fun-loving personality as well as giving him a strong desire to please others and make them happy. 

 

His mentor was chosen well and she guided him through his apprenticship, making sure that he didn't become arrogant but stayed humble as his parents encouraged. Accelerate's training went smoothly from there and while his sister did struggle with the feelings that there wasn't anywhere she belonged, Accelerate percieved the situation differently. He saw it as that he lived everywhere and with everyone, he could move among people with ease and there weren't many Avyloci who didn't know his name. 

 

It was after he'd been a warrior for some time that Accelerate was offered a place on the Taki'ran ship, he hadn't wanted to leave his sister, but she was now an Apprentice and couldn't accompany him. In addition, he knew how important the offer was, the elders wouldn't risk somone with the mimic ability if it wasn't highly critical. The deciding thing, was his sister telling him to find something to kill the Rasharrn, to prevent anyone else from being hurt. 

 

Ace settled in well with the other Taki'ran Seekers though he does hate the long travels on the ship between places. When he got to Earth, he began to learn the English language, the first thing Ace did, was to look up the translation of his name, and it stuck.
