By all technicalities, Prometheus is a social extrovert and constantly seeks out peope. He doesn't like to spend time alone and often fears being left alone with this thoughts. His upbringing has damaged him so badly that he doesn't feel he could handle the solitude without turning into his 'master'. For this reason, he often seeks out people however will usually only feel safe with those he knows well and becomes withdrawn around people he doesn't really know. If he were healthy in his own personality, he would be friendly and easy-going, however the damage has caused him to become quiet and insecure, usually not speaking unless spoken to as he has been trained. This has all caused him to become socially selective and prefers only to be with the people he knows and trusts. Working for a master has made him increadibly loyal and he would give his life for those he values in a heartbeat. He has always been taught that he was wortheless, less than nothing and so he has no conflict about sacrificing himself for his friends. 

 

Prometheus has experienced very little kindness in his life and therefore it is an alien thing to him. Often times he shies away from kindness and gravitates towards the harder more cynical people. He feels more comfortable around them as he knows what to expect and what is expected of him. He is very dependent. Growing up only to serve someone has inhibited any ability to think or act for himself and without somone to guide him, will very often attach himself to the nearest person. He is submissive by nature and would often keep his ideas to himself rather than speak up, having been taught that his own opninon was unessesary and unwanted. 

 

His mistreatment has often caused him to be overly attatched to those he depends on and Prometheus can display overly aggressive behaviours in the name of protecting those people. This has gotten him into quite a bit of trouble before and it is often observed that he is not able to handle many conflict-oriented situations with maturity. This aggresive response is only triggered when he feels cornerd and previous attempts at submission or conflict-avoidance have failed. Toward those he cares about, given enough time, Prometheus will begin to demonstrate his attatchment or affection by doing little things for them, perhaps making them something to eat or going to retrieve items for them. He can actually be quite affectionate when under the right 'master', however up to this point in his life, he has not experienced anything but cruelty. 

 

Prometheus is hard working and when told to do something, he'll get it done despite any circumstances that may arise. He has grown up under harsh judgment and any orders who weren't carried out to perfection were punished severly. For this reason, he will always throw himself into whatever he has been assigned to do with 100% effort. He is straightforward and doesn't waste time on what isn't relevant.

 

Due to his upbringing, Prometheus' mental growth has been inhibited, causing a lot of his behavious to seem immature. Especially when showing affection toward others, he can seem very childish and he deals with a lot of insecurities. Prometheus often struggles with anxiety from his expeirneces and can be prone to panic attacks.

 

History

Prometheus spent his entire life in the laboratory hacing experienced the effects of the apocalypse years before it actually happened. 

Before the parasite was ready to release in the world, other experiments were being run unbenownst to anyone else in the world. The first people captured were several ordianry families, plucked off the streets by random chance for scientific purposes. No one knew these families were taken, careful reccords were constructed indicating accidental deaths. Car crashes and robberies gone wrong were perfectly staged so that the world would be none the wiser. Prometheus' family was one of these and at the time, was simply a mother and father with twin baby daughter and son. 

 

The family was kept in horrible conditions while Amneon personally oversaw the experiments for a variety of things. They used Prometheus' older sister and brother to test a new post-natal genetic experiment they'd been working on however it unfortunantly failed and caused them to become physically weak and sick. His brother was the first to die only a week after the experiment was completed. His sister lasted two months before she too sucummed to death. Enraged with grief, Prometheus' parents were forced to be separated in order to make them more compliant. It was only a year later of experiments that Prometheus was forcefully concieved, Amneon having decided to try the post-natal experiments before the birth in the hopes that it would have a stronger effect. Prometheus wasn't the only child concieved for the experiment, however he was the only one to survive past the age of five. 

 

Prometheus' mother died shortly after birth from the complecations of the genetic alteration. The experiment had been on a variety of factors, mainly having to do with an enhanced physical ability
