Guys, if you're doing art of any of my characters, it is SUPER IMPORTANT that you read this stuff first. I really hate getting a stunning art piece and having to ask for changes because it isn't accurate to the species.
General Information
- The wings, tail and tail-feathers are actually part of a separate organism. This organism can be removed and thus you can draw the character without. However, you cannot draw them with only wings, only a tail or wings and a tail without the tail feathers. It's like drawing people with only one arm or leg. It just doesn't happen! It's all or nothing.
- Avyloci (Keonrain, Accelerate, Kythax & Mikaleus) have fully black eyes and appear to have no ears (they do, but similar to the ears of a bird, they're not visible)
- Avyloci have feathers for hair. I understand if you can't draw feathers all that well (I can't either) but at least make some attempt to differenciate them from hair. (Avyloci can also raise the feathers on their head like a ruff when agitated.)
- Avyloci have a second set of musculs under their Pectorialis Major, this is to aid in flight. (They just look like an extra set of slightly smaller pecs without nipples)
- Avyloci have five fingers but only four toes.
